HNIN THIRI

BIOGRAPHY

Hnin Thiri is a talented watercolor artist hailing from Thandwe, Rakhine in Myanmar. Born on November 27, 1983, she studied under the guidance of artist U Myint Naing and earned an A.G.T.I (EP) Diploma. Throughout her career, Hnin Thiri has participated in numerous group exhibitions, showcasing her work both in Myanmar and internationally.

Some of her notable exhibitions include the 2nd Myanmar Ladies Art Exhibition in 2016 at The Yangon Gallery, the 8 Watercolor 2017 Art Exhibition at 43 Art Gallery, and the Southeast Asia Watercolor Exhibition in 2020 at the National Art Gallery in Langkawi, Malaysia. In 2018, she also had the opportunity to showcase her work at the Premio Tláloc in Mexico.

In 2021, Hnin Thiri was a participant in the 2021 Spring Malaysia International Online Juried Art Competitions, and in 2022 she took part in ‘The Great Beauty of Harmony’, an international watercolor invitational exhibition held in Kunming, China.

Throughout her exhibiting history, Hnin Thiri has received recognition for her stunning watercolor paintings, with her works being displayed at various galleries and museums, including the National Museum and New Treasure Art Gallery in Yangon. She continues to be a prominent figure in the art world, inspiring others with her unique vision and passion for creating beautiful works of art.
