BIOGRAPHY

Khine Minn Soe,born in 1978 in Sittwe, Rakhine State, . He received his education in the arts at the State School of Fine Art in Yangon from 1996 to 1999 and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, which he earned in 2004. is a highly acclaimed contemporary artist renowned for his mastery of detail and his unique approach to portraiture. He has a reputation for being a perfectionist, and his works are renowned for their lifelike quality and attention to detail. One of his most famous series is “The Sitting Lady,” which is widely regarded as a masterpiece in the art world.

Khine Minn Soe has participated in many group and solo exhibitions both locally in Myanmar and abroad, in countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand, and the United States. He has also received several awards for his work, including the Philip Morris Group of Companies Myanmar Art Awards (Honorable Mention) in 2002 and being a finalist in the Myanmar Contemporary Art Awards in 2004, 2008, and the Myanmar National Portrait Awards in 2011. His art is appreciated for its technical skill, as well as its emotional depth, and has earned him a large following among art collectors and aficionados.
