PHYU SIN THANT
BIOGRAPHY
Phyu Sin Thant is a talented and promising artist from Monywa, Myanmar. She has a background in painting and holds a Bachelor of Art degree from the National University of Arts and Culture in Mandalay, as well as a PGDA degree. Her paintings are known for their emotional impact and her ability to bring her characters to life. She has a particular talent for capturing the innocence and beauty of children, as seen in her famous series “Dreams,” which portrays the artist herself with themes of hope, dreams, and fading away.
Phyu Sin Thant has exhibited her work in both group and solo exhibitions. Some of her notable exhibitions include “Pureness” (2018) at 65 Gallery in Yangon, “New Generation (III)” (2007) at MDY, “Voice of 21 Women for Peace” (2017) in Yangon, and “Art Revolution Taipei” (2020). Her works have also been displayed at international exhibitions such as Fine Art Asia in Hong Kong (2021). Phyu Sin Thant is a talented and up-and-coming artist whose works are highly regarded and sought after.
